For better reading of this article i have separated it into two (2) parts. In this part we have learnt what a manual satellite dish is and how to install it after watching the video.

A Winegard RV satellite dish is not only popular but also very affordable. Two of its most popular kinds are the RM-DM46 and RD-4600. Installing an RV satellite system requires different hardware and materials that include a pile of installation goodies, remote control, a receiver, and an RV satellite dish. The dish or satellite antenna should be located on an area that can receive satellite signals for the television programming. This will allow changing the elevation of the dish as well as its azimuth.

To receive satellite signals, the RV satellite dish must be anchored or mounted firmly and pointed in the accurate direction. There are many ways on how to anchor or mount the satellite dish. One of these ways is mounting the satellite dish on the roof as this will make it more wind resistant and stable. In this way, the satellite dish will also be less accessible for those who want to tamper it. Some satellite dish can be set up on tripods; however the possibility of getting stolen is always there. Although this rarely happens, you must still anticipate it.

A RV satellite dish that is roof mounted is useful in all situations. However, the only problem that you care about to encounter on this method, is the trees. Spot an area on your roof where there is no blocking of trees as this will make the satellite signals weak.
